Solar Water Heating
Solar water heating systems use solar panels, called collectors, fitted to your roof. These collect heat from the sun and use it to heat up water which is stored in a hot water cylinder. A boiler or
immersion heater can be used as a back-up to heat the water further to reach the temperature you want.
The use of solar energy to heat water is way to significantly reduce the energy bill. Properly sized, it saves on average about 75% of the energy usually spent on heating water. The system is particularly suitable for the domestic / residential sector where the consumption of hot water corresponds to the hot water volume supplied by the system. This can be installed on roof or in flat roof, with capacities of 150, 200 and 300 liters. It’s indirect system is perfect for salty/ borehole water and has 5 year warranty and over 20 years lifespan.
